Summer is coming to an end, but for everyone who wishes summer was year round (like me) I have thrown together a roundup of my favorite summer trends. Everything in this post is linked, so you can shop your little hearts out.
Rompers: Perfect for the Beach, Boat and Brunch (my fav summer hobby). Rompers can be dressed up or down and have summer written all over them. I like to throw on a pair of wedges, add jewelry and wear one out on date night. This summer I have seen so many beautiful floral pieces, but nothing says “Summer” like a white romper and a good tan.
Okay, so maybe a romper is not your style. Everyone looks effortlessly put together in maxi. For summer, the brighter the better is my motto. Wearing bright pieces can make you look tanner than you are, and if your outfit says it all you can go subtle on the accessories.
Dress it down with a pair of fun shorts, whether its print or plain, you are sure to make a statement in these flattering picks. Shorts are so easy, especially for the girl who chooses comfort over fashion, you can still be in style.
An outfit is never complete without the right pair of shoes. In the final days of summer, make a statement with your shoes. Heels for brunch, or sandals for a walk on the beach, I’ve got your summer must haves!
Handbags are a staple to your outfit and make the look complete. During summer, we tend to travel and be on the go. Here are a few smaller handbag options!

With Fall just around the corner, alot of these items are on sale and so versatile they can transition into fall. For those in Florida (Like myself) it could even be 80 degrees on Christmas day… and it is acceptable to wear flip flops!

Sea World Orlando… an ideal Sunday Funday.
Let me take you on a full tour of my amazing adventure. The very first thing that you need to do before you get to the park is download the App. (Get App Here) The App has a map of the park, so no need to fold up the paper version and stuff it in your pocket every 5 seconds. You can easily see the park at any given time. The App is important to download before you get to the park because you can open it up when you park, and save your parking spot. When you leave the park at the end of the day, you open the app and it takes you right back to your car. (How amazing is that?) The App also lists all the show times, allows you to upgrade your tickets and so much more.
The very first thing that I had to do when I got into the park was see dolphins. Yes, before any rides or shows we went to the Dolphin Nursery! The dolphins had toys of all sorts, there were 4 of them playing around in the water and one of them was obsessed with a blow up beach ball. The dolphin would come up the the glass wall and try to push the ball over the other side to us. (How adorable!) Below are two videos of the dolphin.
The very next thing we did was ride Mako and Manta, two out of the three roller coasters at the park. My personal favorite out of the two was Manta, because you start out seated like normal coaster and then they drop you into “flying position”. The entire duration of the ride you are embracing the Manta Ray Species, reach speeds up to 56 miles per hour which seems a lot faster when you are laying down facing the ground the entire time. It is thrilling and I highly recommend riding more than once.
The One Ocean Show at 12:15 was a blast. I would go on and on, but let me show you the amazing photos.
After that, we made our way over to Pacific Point Preserve where we watched Sea Lions for literally 15 minutes. They were all talking to each other, playing around or clinging to their mother. (I have a weakness for baby animals of any kind) Here are some pictures of the fun:
Hands down the place you have to eat in the park is Sharks Underwater Grill and Bar. It has healthy options, amazing food and the best part.. you eat beside SHARKS. Yes, you are get to enjoy your dinner or lunch with a one in a million view. There are sharks and fish of all sorts withing 10 feet of your table. It is a perfect place to bring the kids, they are entertained throughout the meal and you are too!

Dolphins are so smart. We made our way to the Dolphin Days Show at 3:00 pm, and it was incredible to see all the talent in the trainers as well as the dolphins. The passion radiated from the trainers into the show, and brought it all to life. The dolphins flipped, squealed, and even balanced their trainer on the tip of their nose. Take a look at the show:
Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin is exactly where you want to go after being in the heat all day. It is literally freezing (in the best way possible) for the adorable penguins. There is a ride and an exhibit, an absolute must. The penguins have such funny personalities and actually do dance, and slip around just like Happy Feet the Movie.
We wanted to finish the day off with riding Kraken. We went to Spot Saver and received a pass to ride at 5:15. If you have not experienced this roller coaster, I would suggest that you go to Spot Saver when you arrive at the park and nail down a time to wait 20 min or less for the ride. The average wait time while we were there (A Sunday) was 180 minutes. Plan wisely, it is so worth it. This coaster has a Virtual Reality Experience like no other. This floorless ride, will take you virtually through underwater canyons where you will see many different creatures. I can’t get too specific, you need to go see for yourself!

- Download the Sea World App
- Expect to pay a Minimum of $20 for parking if you are not a pass Holder
- You can bring water into the park, and refill at the water fountains and coke machines for free.
- Bring Sunscreen
- Plan out your show times, if you want to be splashed make sure you are seated in the first few rows. (Aka the Splash Zone)
- Go to SpotSaver.com for Kraken Roller Coaster. This ensures a time that you can come back to the ride, and wait 20 minutes or less. (Do this as soon as you get to the park for the day)
- Wear comfortable shoes, or you will get blisters.
- If you want to dine at the Sharks Underwater Grill and Bar, make sure you have a reservation. (Lifesaver!!)
- All day lockers are available in the park, however there are lockers at each coaster for $1 for an hour and $2 for each additional hour.

Sunday Funday was in St Augustine Florida this week and it was such an adventure. During the day we went to the Alligator Farm where we looked at countless exhibits of Alligators and Crocodiles. The park is beautifully laid out, plenty of shade, benches and even air conditioned buildings with animals, artifacts and so much more. At 12 pm we watched the alligator feeding, and to our surprise we learned how little alligators can actually eat in a year (90lbs of food) and survive. The staff is amazingly friendly, after a walking the exhibits we sat down for a show and learned about a few other reptiles they have at the park. Although it is a great place to take kids (if you have them), adults will enjoy it as well. From beautiful birds, to an albino alligator, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm was an adventure.

My #1 rule is that a good dessert always comes before dinner.
Cousteau’s Waffle and Milkshake Bar…. is the best place in St. Augustine to dive into desserts. Yes, I said desserts because you cannot stop yourself with just one item from their Menu! They are located right off St. George Street (tourist shopping heaven) and I highly recommend you grab a stool and enjoy the creations from Cousteaus.

I’ve never met a girl who did not like receiving flowers, so here are all the reasons why you should WEAR them…
- Floral dresses automatically accessorize for you! That’s right. You can dress them up if you want to, but they stand alone as a beautiful pattern.
- Florals can be paired with plain. Are you a plain Jane? Would you rather throw on a solid tee and head out the door? Floral skirts and shorts are your easy way to look stylish while keeping it comfy.
- Wear a floral headband. Sometimes your outfit needs to be simple, but your hair doesn’t have to be. With little effort, work that updo with some assistance from a floral headband.

Life can be so busy sometimes but sleep is so important for your body. In order to have a good day every day, I swear by these 7 things to do 7 days a week before bed!
1. Drink a full glass of water.
2. Do one activity for atleast 15 minutes to take your mind off your day before bed. (Recap your day, read a book, pray, catch up on a show)
3. Put your phone on sleep mode, stay off your electronics prior to bed time. Electronics keep your brain awake and can disrupt your sleep.
4. Plan for the next day, set out your outfit, pack your lunch etc.
5. Pick out one accomplishment from your day big or small.
6. Use a night cream, it is so important to keep your skin moisturized.
7. The most important… SET your alarm.
Doing these 7 things consistently is the recipe to a better week!

Fitness is so important to your physical and mental health, by becoming more Fitness oriented you can live a healthier lifestyle. So here is a perfect workout for three very different lifestyles: The Traveler, The Busy-Bee and the Gym Member.
I will share my top workouts for upper body, abs and legs for each lifestyle. Here we go!
1. The Traveler ?
Your setting is a little out of touch, so you will need to have a hotel room friendly workout.
Bicycle crunches: 40 reps x 4 sets
Planks: 30 sec each x 8 reps
Straight Leg sit up and twists: 30 reps x 4 sets
Push ups (yes the real ones, no cheating): 10 reps x 4 sets
Dips: Using the edge of a chair in your room or even the end of the bed- 35 reps x 4 sets
Lunges (my favorite ☺️): 40 reps x 4 sets
Squats: 20 reps x 4 sets
1 minute wall sits: 1 minute each x 4 sets
Jumping Jacks: 30 reps x 4 sets
Mountain climbers: 50 reps x 4 sets
Burpees: 15 reps x 4 sets
*these are all suggestions and depending on your health you may want to increase these intervals to meet your individual needs
The Busy Bee ?
Whether you are a full time student, full time in your career or a full time parent, you might not have time to make it to the gym on a daily basis. This workout is for you:
Jumping rope: 100 jumps x 4 sets
Suicides (50 ft area back and forth): 10 reps x 4 sets
Burpees: 15 reps x 4 sets
Jog in place: 1 min repeat 8 times
Side planks: 5 each side repeat 4 times
Regular Crunches: 35 reps x 4 sets
6 inch killers: hold for 30 second x 4 sets
Using weights of your choice*10lbs for me
Dumbbell curls: 20 each arms x 4 sets
Over head one arm triceps extension: 5-10lbs 10 reps each arm repeat 4 times
Push-ups: 15 reps x 3 sets
Wall sits: 1 min each repeat 6 times
Lunges: 40 reps x 4 sets
Squats: 20 reps X 4 sets
Glute kickbacks: 15 each leg repeat 4 times
Hanging leg raises: 20 reps x 4 sets
Planks: 5 each side repeat 4 times
Dumbbell press- choose weight of your choice 10 reps x 4 sets
Side lateral raises: choose dumbbell weight of your choice- 10 each side repeat 4 times
Seated Cable row- choose weight of your choice-15 reps x 4 sets
Bicep curls: choose weight- 20 reps x 4 sets
Calf raises: 15 reps x 4 sets
Squat machine: choose weight of your choice, 15 reps x 4 sets
